Processing of log files
When you register for our website, Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft processes the following data about you, which allows conclusions to be drawn about your person:
- Your, surname, first name, title, organizational data, telephone number, e-mail address, to ensure that only authorized persons have access to this website
- Your login data generated as a result
The processing of this data is carried out in accordance with Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR in relation to the implementation of the EU Data Regulation. The data will be deleted 90 days after termination of access.
When you visit our website, Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft processes the following log files about you, which allow conclusions to be drawn about your person:
- The operating system you use, the web browser you use and the screen resolution you set, and
- The date and time of your visit
- Your login data
The processing of this data is carried out in accordance with Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in being able to display the website to you properly. The data will be deleted after 90 days.
Data processing in connection with official inquiries
You have the option of contacting us via the VEDAS website and sending us an inquiry. In this context, we process the following data: surname, first name, e-mail address, organizational data, request. We process your personal data provided there in order to contact you and process your request (cf. Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR).
We will delete your data as soon as we have answered your request to your satisfaction, provided that no other retention periods (e.g. tax retention periods or documentation obligations under the EU Data Regulation) conflict with this.

Right of revocation: If the data processing is based on consent, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time free of charge with effect for the future.
Right to lodge a complaint: You also have the right to complain to the competent supervisory authority (“Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen”) about our processing of your data.
